Colour Workshop – Krista Brennan
This will be an all day workshop on colour, by Krista Brennan who is member of the society, and teaches at the Sydney Art School.
This introduction to colour theory and practice will cover the key elements of recognising and understanding how to identify and mix colour across all mediums, including watercolour, acrylics, oils, pastels and digital mediums.
The workshop will include theory and practical application, where we will learn first how to identify colours and then how to mix and apply them in a painting.
Over the course of the workshop, we will cover:
Elements of colour – Hue, Value and Chroma
Split primary palette
Primary, secondary and composite (neutral) colours
CMYK vs RGB
The workshop is limited to 12 members only, and the cost is $80.
