Plein air September – Berowra Turner Road track
This month we will go out into the bush, in Berowra along the fire trail at the end of Turner Road.
These are the references for the the entrance to the fire trail. Leave your car here and follow the directions below to the spot.

To get to the start of the fire trail, turn left off the Pacific Highway at the traffic lights in Berowra, into Berowra Waters Road. Follow this road for about 3 kms, going through two roundabouts, past a couple of schools, and up to a third round about by the Berowra Village Shopping centre. Berowra Waters Road turns left here, but you should go straight on to Turner Road. Just past the first shopping centre there is another set of shops called Berowra Market Place, with easy parking, Darcie’s Cafe with coffee, food and toilets. See photo 1 for the entrance. Keep on Turner Road for another kilometer to the end of the road.
When you get there, leave the car by the side of the road and take the fire trail. I have put photos of the entrance and the track you should take. It is about half a kilometer along the trail on a flat walking track to a good spot. It took me 6 minutes to walk there. Plenty of views of the valleys, trees, wild flowers .
