Hornsby Art Society (HAS) is a non-profit community organisation, with a committee of volunteers actively promoting and facilitating the development of the visual arts and a cultural presence within the Hornsby Shire.  We warmly welcome new members who are artists or who have an interest in the arts, and who share this vision.

The Society runs a programme of exhibitions during the year, some for members only, some for volunteers and some for members and general entrants. The details are given in the Events listing on this website. We also assist Hornsby Council in putting on their exhibitions at Wallarobba.

We have demonstrations and workshops on the second Mondays of the month during summer and the second Sunday afternoon during winter. These are for members or non members and we welcome visitors to these. The details are given in the Events listing including any booking required.

There are also art groups organized by the Society, one a Life Drawing Group and the other a General Painting Group. Details of these are shown elsewhere on the site.

We also organize functions such as visits to local galleries, which are advertised in Events.
